To make the wait for the new Vitamin X release easier on you, we've decided to reissue their back catalogue and out of press releases. We've started with the "Full Scale Assault" LP, originally released on Tank Crimes Records (USA) and Agipunk Records/Thrashbastard Records (Europe) in 2008. This release successfully captures the manic aggression of their notorious live shows while showcasing their amazing songwriting skills and musicianship. On this release VX took their furious hardcore sound even further into the realms of 70's rock riffage with wild guitar solos, all the while never letting up on the high energy thrash punk they are known for. Recorded and engineered at Electrical Audio Studios in Chicago by Steve Albini (Nirvana, Neurosis) the record's sound is enormous. The album features lead vocals by Negative Approach's John Brannon on two songs as well as amazing artwork by John Baizley (Baroness, Pig Destroyer). This is seriously a hardcore masterpiece which should still be easily available. It is one of the most important releases in the band's twenty year history. The release comes with gatefold cover and full color poster.
